We often perceive fleeting images and fragments of other worlds, but rarely do we ever get the chance to stop and observe them in their full and fragile forms. Once opened, these portals carry transient gravity, pulling us into a free-fall and casting us into familiar unknowns.

Silent creatures and faceless figures guide us through different dimensions, showing us shared worlds and experiences; their images speak to each of us in secret, their imprints remaining as we return to reality.

Claudia Longo (1999) opens these portals to other worlds. With a focus on painting, drawing, and sculpture, she also works with printmaking, video, and mosaic. Of Italian-Romanian origin, Claudia was born in Trieste and raised in Cyprus. After living in the United Kingdom, the United States, Costa Rica and Norway, she is currently based in Rome. She has exhibited her work in Chicago, Puerto Viejo, and Rome.
